In July 2024, Bomanite Southeast Asia welcomed Mr. Homok Chung of C&C Lightway Inc., together with Mr. Woong Ji Kim and Mr. Lee of HKC Korea Color Concrete Co., Ltd. The visit marked a significant milestone in BIL’s and BSEA’s expansion into the South Korean market and served as an important step toward building a strong partnership with one of Korea’s most reputable concrete companies.

The trip began with the arrival of Mr. Homok Chung on July 14, 2024, laying the groundwork for a series of productive meetings and discussions. He was later joined by Mr. Woong Ji Kim and Mr. Lee on July 16. Although the delegation’s stay was brief—ending on July 17—it was filled with meaningful exchanges on the Bomanite brand, its heritage, and its innovative product range. These discussions provided valuable insights into South Korea’s concrete flooring market, enabling BIL to better understand how Bomanite systems can address its unique requirements.

A highlight of the visit was a series of hands-on product demonstrations held at the Bulacan facility. The Korean team observed the application of several Bomanite systems, including pervious concrete, sandwash, and exposed aggregate. These demonstrations not only showcased the versatility and quality of Bomanite products but also underscored the comprehensive technical support BIL provides to its licensees.

The visit concluded with the signing of two important agreements: the Master Licensee Contract and the Installation Licensee Contract, appointing HKC Korea Color Concrete Co., Ltd. as the leader in Bomanite installations across South Korea. Additionally, a separate collaboration between BIL and C&C Lightway Inc. was established, with Mr. Homok introducing the advanced K-Crete technology. Through ongoing research, testing, and refinement, substantial progress has been achieved, and this innovation is expected to create new opportunities in the Philippine market.

This milestone visit marked the beginning of Bomanite’s journey in South Korea and reinforced BIL’s commitment to innovation, partnership, and the continued expansion of the Bomanite brand across the globe.
